Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose is a very good one. I have chosen Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering. The Jain university is a deemed university. So they focus on practical education. There are many research initiatives going on in my college. They also give more importance to dull students or those who are weak in some of the subjects. I was a little weak in maths , my college offered special lecturing classes on math. As well as computers.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am a first year student, I really don't know about the internship. They had informed us that they will arrange for an internship during the fourth year or so.

Placement Experience

They say that the placements are very good. Most of the companies come for placements. There was placement going on few weeks before. I got to know about this from my senior. I heard that companies like capgemini, infosys, etc come for placements. There is a special placement training cell in my college. This cell gives knowledge about the placement. They train us to be prepared for the placenta and interview.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was affordable. I had to pay 1.8 Lakhs as tuition fees. And I also pay 32000 for the transportation fee. Since I had written the entrance test that's Jain Entrance test, and cleared it they offered me a scholarship of 70,000 . I have studied my pu in Jain college Jayanagar itself. So I knew the quality of education. So I had hoped for the same in engineering too. I am satisfied.

Hostel Facilities

No I am not. I am a day scholar. I have subscribed for the food. The food is very tasty. I like it. Jain food is very good. Some of my friends say in hostel. I have seen their rooms. They are very good. They are well maintained.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

They are highly qualified. Most of the faculty are PhD holders. Especially in my aerospace department. Most of the faculty are retired professionals from Hindustan Aeronautical Limited, Defence Research And Development Organization, National Aeronautical Laboratories etc.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

There are campus placements in our college to company like Amazon and infosys.students become eligible for campus placements for 6 or 7th semester.i think so minimum package is 8 lakhs per year and max is 35-50 lakhs.it depends on the way students give their interview the percentage of students getting placement might be somewhere around 30-35 percent.i have some start-up ideas such as real estate or hostel business

Placement Experience:

Students of 4 year are eligible for placements and students of third year are eligible for internship.given they have more than 7 cgpa with no subject which is uncleared that is having active backlog .My plans is to get a pre placement offer through my first internship.Big companies like microsoft ,Tata ,wipro, boeing come to college .percentage of students getting placed increase every year .This year it was 60 percent.Roles offered and placement depend on your field of interest and which companies you are applying for .
