Students Activity Centre, which is huge and looking good
Admin building, which attracts the students.
New audiotrium, which gives the cinema hall looks

Dislikes

Old shopping complex, which is too small.
Lab complex, where usually classes will be happened earlier.
There is no WiFi facility in some hostels

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum in IIT Bhubaneswar is different from other IIT's curriculum. It is neither high nor low. Some part is based on the practical applications. Teaching is good, but still they can improve their teaching method so that the students can gain more knowledge and easily understand. There will be one mid sem and one sem exams in one semester.

Class Size: 108Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is knocksoniacs where a electrical vehicle will be made by the mechanical students. There are some companies which will give intern with stipend for web development and etc. I am not sure about the company names.

Placement Experience

There is a Pre-Placement Offer for the students which will get in the third year like an internship. Somany companies are visited every year. Highest package was about 30 lakh for CSE students and an average package was about 15-17 lakh. 70% of the students gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is one lakh for one semester and there is extra fee also for every semester, that extra fee will be high for odd semesters when compared to even semesters. Entire cost of my education is above 10 lakh. There is a full fee scholarship for economically weaker students and tution fee is free for SC and ST students.

Campus Life

There are three fests in the college will be conducted by the students. The infrastructure is being constructed. Classrooms are really good. There is a auditorium in the campus which was built recently. There is huge number of grounds and courts for sports. Campus is in active in cultural, technical and sports aspects. There are five technical societies and some of the clubs under them.

Hostel Facilities

There will be one cot, one table and chair, cupboards, and one fan. For every room there is a balcony. The mess menu will be decided by the students only. According to that price will be decided. The quality of the food was good at all times most probably. We can register to the hostel by paying the fee in online.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

To get admission in IIT one have to pass the JEE Advance exam. There is no home state reservation in IIT's. Through josaa councling only we can get seat in IIT's. About the fee structure and all will displayed in the resepective institute's website.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
