- Good sports facilities and trainers for every sport for physical improvement.
- Clubs are always there to help in improving our understanding of the subject irrespective of the branch we belong
- Considerable number of classes for day for students to improve in the interest of their liking
Dislikes
- Place outside of the campus is not very friendly and is bit dangerous at nights
- Less encouragement for people with weak mindset
- Organising of the fests are not up to the mark.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching is very good . There is good competition spirit among my friends .we will get access to the curriculum in the college portal ,which ignited the interest in me,courses like VLSI is there which is good for future technologie. Semister will be approximately for 4 months and frequency of the exams will be for every 2 months in the semister .exams are of moderate difficulty .
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Google , Microsoft,came until now which offered internship for 2nd and 3rd years . Goldman Sachs and other offered internships based on finance management.no project was given for Google but the round considered of interview, elimination first round , projects are asked during the interview.
Placement Experience
I plan on doing a job after completing my degree,but the placements have not been very good this year because of recession and other parameters,I don't have insights about the companies which offered no jobs but companies like Flipkart, sprinklr, samsung, Accenture ect comes to our college,this year's highest package is nearly 65lakhs and avg package is 12 lakhs.nearly 85 percentage of the students sitting for jobs get placed.studebts are eligible for getting jobs from 4rth year and 2nd and 3rd years are allowed for internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I am a btech student i don't generally get a campus employment .And coming to fee structure it is approximately 8 lakhs for four years without including mess fee.mess fee approximately cost 1,60,000 for 4 years and medical insurance will be 1700 for every year and bus fee of 1750 every year and 3000 for Gymkhana for four years.
Campus Life
Fests like nebula is held in January for freshers , reverbarance in December,anwesha in February and celesta in Facilities are good and books available are good and is continuously improving with the construction of central library,sports like athletes, tennis, volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, squash,table tennis,carroms, skating,etc are there and clubs are active for different fields.
Hostel Facilities
We are allocated 2 bed rooms ,to be honest the rooms are a bit small ,but the rooms are clean and tidy coming to mess food I would rate it average,we are given hostel rooms nearly 1.5km to the place where are classes take place . registration process include submission of fee receipts and mess fee receipts in the hostel at the time of arrival to College .
Admission
After getting rank of 11996 in jee advance I got allocated a seat in iit Patna at the 6th round of josaa councelling and was given engineering physics branch. And I changed to electrical engineering after getting into college.The process is simple , after getting allocated we need to submit the required documents in the online and we need to pay the fee in portal of the allocated college. We need to submit the documents and get approved from the management after coming to College .
