Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is uptodate and connects to the physical world and it follows new education policy of 2020.Its Practical. The teaching methods can be more digitalized .The semester is short .Total of 3 -4 months.Th ere are two Exams ehich are conducted and at a gap of 2 months each.

Class Size: 26Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total annual fee is 175000 which can be paid in installments throughout the session. There is scholarship available for students who have performed well previously in class 10th and 12th boards ,jee mains and advanced and also semester exams.

Campus Life

The campus of cv raman global university is not all that big.There are 8 boys hostels .I am not sure about the girls hostel (2or 3).All the hostels are within campus except for 2 boys hostel.The distance of the hostel is from the college is of 5 -8 minutes. In my 1.5 years of college life I haven't seen any festival here. There is decent library books and journals can be issued . The classrooms have smartboards and projectors though rarely used. There is new block built solely for gaming activites.

Admission

The admission is done on the basis of class12th and jee mains For some the exam was online and others it was offline. The cutoff depended on the number of available seats the students or scored higher were taken. I didn't like the long waiting time for the result after the exams

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.
