IIT PATNA - A saga

The course curriculum for cse branch is trivial but recently it has been modified ,recent technologies like Artificial intelligence and machine learning are also being added.the curriculum is not so easy though. you are busy throughout the day. always loaded with aassignments quizzes,exams ans all of that stuff.Frequency of exams if two times a semester mid-sem and end sem along with lots and lots of quizzes . According to me the course needs some more changes because nowadays may be computer architecture r digital systtens are not so necessary as AI an ML..We are also taught some of the humanitie subject to lessen our stress whivh is a anoce thing but that entirely depends on the professor that takes that subject how much relaxed you wil be . I think the most important requirement is to stope the race of the CPI int he college.

Internship opportunities are available right from the second year for girls specifically with varying stipends from 50K to 1 lacs. Research interns are also there . some major companies are GOOGLE, atlassian ,sprinklr , PAYTM , TVS ,qualcomm ,Oracle ,roles offered are SDE intern , AI and ML interns along with many other based on the skills required.projects are demanded according to the roles which you are applying to and therefore you get chance to get it .

Placements of my branch till last uear were 10 percent .this year we saw some decrease and hardships in placemmenyts .Less companies are visiting the campus so,the competition is quite high. Students become eligible for placements from final year. my plan after geetting the degree is geting a secured job .Highest package was 82 lacs and and average being 23 lacs.About 150 companies visit the campus and total offers are around 400 . The roles are varied according to different branches

Yes , you are offered concessions in tuition fees if you are form reserved category .Alsoyoucan also get MCM scholarships or different kind of bank scholarships if you have proper documents of your family income being not so high.Tuition fees is almost not there for these kind of STUDENTS.

The club involvement here is really mice almost every weekendd have something to enjouy ,the fest , the activities of every club are just so nice . also there is a club accprdoing to your hobbies you can join it and work for them ,this slaos improves connectins between the juniors and the seniors ans lessens the burden of academics .Talking about the clubs we have dance ,dramatucs , music, quiz,oratory ,anime ,arts,standup, cooking and what not. there are some technical clubs as well if you want to work for them then you can also join them.

Hostel facilities are nice here at IITP , I live in asima girls hostel here you have to share the rom with one room partner however the room is quite big ,you are given two tables ,two chairs,two cupboards and two beds. the room is also cleaned by the staff every week . wi-fi i avaoiable ,refrigerators on each floor and inductions are also available on each floor.Mess quality is not so good but you can still manage with it the variety us available for south indians jain and other foods,snacks are not available in girls hostel in evening however. registrationkprocess is simple you can do it using college portals as informed by the college. i did not rented any other PG .

i got my college according to jee rank . first you have to appaer for jee mains any one of the attempt ,clear it with as much percentile as much as needed accordingo to your category , then you have the chance to appear for jee advance ,if you clear jee advanced ,then you get the chance to get your conunselling done and geta college firt of all two mock rounds occur according to your preferences and then 6 rounds generally and in the end you finally get a sear, you can also freeze your seat in between if you wish or you may move to following rounds. there re three options while counselling as much as i ca remember ,but i did all 6 rounds , I got MNNIT Allahabad CSE in first round and then IITP in second and all the rest of the rounds so finally for me IITP CSE seat eas confirmed after the sixth round .Then i waited for some time ,your college invites to fill all the appropriate information on their and informs about the following procedures,you have to fill them accordingly.
