Worth the amount and i have personally enjoyed the first year.
The infrastructure of our college is good and been developed a lot so that the student doesn't face any issue

Dislikes

The placements can be more better and more available to the students.
The canteen of our college is not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is for about 4 years of the course that will be further divided into semesters. Per year we will have 2 semesters and for a duration of 4 months for each semester After completion of every semester there will be final semester exams.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college will offer you a nice campus placements if the student is maintaining an aggregate of minimum 7.5 and above. And if we meet those we will have more opportunities in the campus only so that the student will not face any issue. The highest package of our college the last year was about 4.5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

As i have taken management quota my fee structure is about an average of 200000/yr and it includes tution fee also. But if you get merit through the CET exam then your fees will come down to 100000/yr which is a benefit.

Campus Life

Every year we will have an annual cultural meet Vemanostav and in this event students are encouraged to participate for any cultural events without restrictions. Here we have a huge vast library with all books sorted and kept in order and the maintenance is also amazing of the library.

Admission

I have joined this college with management quota but about the admission process of this college it will consider CET and JEE exams that will be conducted to all the puc students and if students have a minimum aggregate in those exams then they can join this college through the appropriate admission processes

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
