Course Curriculum Overview

As our college is under VTU the academic curriculum will be based on the VTU board and it is made in such a way that the students must participate in all the activities like sports,culturals , mini projects etc by making them a part of the academics and marks will be given to each of these . However our college is planning to make a drastic change in the curriculum by making our college autonomous, which helps the college management to focus more on the quality of the education and students welfare

Internships Opportunities

College expose us to the many intership opportunities form the first semester itself but it will be left to us butvin the higher semesters internship become a compulsory thing so that every student will attend the internship

Placement Experience

Form 6th semester itself the placement training will be started without any extra fee , the training will be given by the professionals in that particular field so that we can be ready for all kind of situations.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got this college via Kcet conducted in Karnataka. As my rank was good I got SNQ( Super Numery Quota) by which my fee was reduced to 32000 from 104000. Additional fees will be based on the category and mode of addmission. For me it was just 5000

Campus Life

In our college every month there will be some cultural activities to relieve the students from the academic stress and to explore the hidden talents of the many students. There are many clubs in our college like cultural club , sports club, coding club etc ,..and I am the member of the coding club

Hostel Facilities

When compared to other colleges and the rooms in this area , the hostel fee is very very less , the rooms in the hostel are 3 sharing with extra space , an attached bathroom, studytable , chair , cupboard and a cot with bed for each student

Admission

I didn't applied for any other colleges because I knew about this college before, and I knew that this college will be providing me the space I needed to implement my idea with full support. And I can learn more things rather than academics.

There are many faculties in our college based on each branch as per my branch all teachers are very friendly, supportive and encouraging. They are always ready to help us and they make sure to push us beyond our limits in a positive way , all teachers are very talented

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Unlocking Excellence

I had applied to cambridge college of engineering. But i got admitted to Vemana institute of technology. icjoose this college over other because of the college environment which was very disciplined. No i did not get rejected.There i did not like the college environment. Based on CET results the seats will be alloted first and then for managemnt seats.
