Course Curriculum Overview

The institution is the oldest and hence the best teacher education institution in the state of Odisha. The curriculum follows the syllabus of major Teacher Eligibility Tests(Tests) of Odisha state so, the students are fully prepared for the professional field they are aiming to go in.

Internships Opportunities

Student teachers are sent to different schools of the nearby areas to gain the practical experience and learning of teaching in a classroom environment. P The two months internship programme help students get an perfect perspective of their professional career before they get into the field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being an govt institution the admission fees is only 5000/- per year which is very minimal compared to other govt and non govt educational institutions. Besides candidates can avail scholarship aids run by the State Govt of Odisha and the staffs of the institution make sure that none of their students go without availing the scholarship.

Campus Life

Teacher education is all about practical application of learnings. It's about learning by doing. Teachers here make the students feel like working professionals so that the students can learn responsibility. All the extracurricular activities including sports, dance, song and many other performing and visual arts are encouraged in the institution.

Admission

Candidates get admission into the college after clearing the State B.Ed entrance exam of Odisha. The entire process of filling up the form for the exam is done through the SAMS portal of Higher Education department of Odisha. Advertisement for the application is released through various newspapers and in the SAMS site itself which includes the entire timeline from beginning of application for the exam till the admission process. This exam is conducted once a year with the cut-offs ranging from 60 to 65 for Arts students while it's around 50 to 55 for the Science students. The admission process post qualifying the exam is completely offline and pretty smooth.

My college life

Likes

My college is very nice the environment is very nice
It located in the near of the highway so that there is no trouble for up and down for students
There are all students are just like good friends we share our books and notes to each other for better understanding

Dislikes

There are too many students are very bad also
Some teachers are not good like behaviour is not suitable for students
Some of the students are not interested in studying their interest in other works

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of our course is very difficult i have passed in political science honours with distinction so this course is very different from other courses. Yes ofcourse there is some improvement needed in the curse

The Educational Backbone

Likes

The teaching faculties are of top level, they make the teacher training fruitful
Here aside teacher training aslo character building done .
I like the intership program here..this is too much fun .

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure, it's not good for a more than 100 years old college.
The canteen hygiene is not good and the management is poor.
Campus life is not upto the mark . Very tiny area .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is more efficient. The intership program is real skil test . We learn about Psychology, Philology, Sociology That helps us to manage the students . Very much effective for real world application. Areas of improvement is infrastructure

Likes

I mostly like the college environment and infrastructure
All the professor were very hardworking and sincere about us

I choose the college because it's fastly a women college and all the professor were very friendly.also the student teacher ratio I s10:1. All faculty members are highly qualified and the teaching style was also excellent .now we are going to internship.there is no exam hold now .our college has annually examination system

Likes

The faculty are helpful in nature and always guide the student.
There is a cricket ground for the cricket lovers.
The campus life is very healthy and seniors are good.

Dislikes

There is no facility of the student placement.
Their no other sports are focues in the college.
There is no GYM facility for the student who are interested in it.

Placement Experience:

The college doesn't provide any direct offer to students. This is a training centre for teaching. The college helps the students to train properly and learn everything in a practical manner. The college helps you to prepare for competitive entrance examinations like OTET, CTET, etc. These examinations are very crucial for future placement and jobs.

About my college

Entrance Preview:

B. Ed. Entrance, Odisha. I am glad that I scored 82.45 out of 150 mark. At 1st i got admitted in angul college. then i transferred to RNIASe college. I opted this college because it is the oldest and best B.ed college in odisha.

A journey from student to student teacher

You have to give an entrance examination to get admission in this course. You must be a graduate in any recognised university. You will get application form from sams and the application fee was 500 from general , obc, sebs and 300 for sc ,st.The exam was of 100 marks and you will get 1:30 mins to complete hundred questions each carrying 1 mark. And there's also negative marking for wrong answer. For one wrong answer 0.25 mark will deduct from the secured mark. And yes u can qualify this examination with your Selfstudy. Because the examine is not that hard. But you should improve your knowledge about all the source , such as general knowledge, current affairs, your own course like if you are from arts background u should study history geography polity etc similarly for science physics chemistry biology mathematics etc. And also about education commission, committee, pedagogy. RNIASE CUTTACK

For pursuing B.ed course in Odisha, you must have bachelor's degree. The exam is conducted by odisha govt and all the information are available in samsodisha website. There is reservation for obc/sebc, sc,st,pwd students. There are some govt b.ed colleges as well as self financing b.ed colleges(more course fee tha govt b.ed college, approx 45k-50k per year). Bitter-Sweet Experiences during B.Ed course

I am a B.Ed student. Graduates of any discipline can apply for B.Ed. I applied through online process. There was an entrance exam. Different cut-offs for different categories as well as streams.
