National Institute of Medical and Management Studies was established in the year 1993 and is located in Bhubaneshwar. It was set up with the objectives to nourish the State providing human resource in the field of IT, Management, Para-Medical, Vocational and Technical Education, Bio-Technology, Nursing and Teachers Education. NIMMS creates an excellent learning atmosphere for the students and develops their ability to stand on their own. The Institution’s attempt and achievement is a milestone in its all branches as its pupils now are holding higher posts and positions in different branches by getting better emoluments. The institute offers Bio-Technology Course that has been offered under Utkal University, Vanivihar, Bhubaneswar and other Courses that have been offered by the Department of Tourism & Culture, Department of Health & Family Welfare, and Department of Women & Child Development under different examining bodies such as Utkal University of Culture, Odisha Nursing and Mid-Wifery Board & Rehabilitation Council of India.
