Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Civil engineering. College gave us nice skills for concept learning. Many research has been doing. They conduct many placements classes to attend free of cost. So this was useful to us.

Internships Opportunities

Lecturers are very helpful for these kinds of internships. They inspire us to do. Maybe for helping to cop up for placement. Though college provides us a nice time for it.

Placement Experience

Our college has very good fame for placement and that wasn't made our trust go wrong. Yes, it really has good placements for most of IT field. But actually, we are of the Civil branch. We actually don't get placed. Some of the companies are the NCC and some builder companies.

College Events

Many events are taking place. Each branch conducts their own fests. And they will be useful for the students in the subject criteria. And finally, a college fest was taking place where other college students can interact with our college. And competition would be there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I was from KCET my fees were RS. 78,000/-. COMED-K students had paid fees of RS.1,75,000/-. And management students have paid 5 lacks. KCET fee was better than the others as it was govt seat. To study engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships from the college side. We could get scholarships from other departments like Govt. And Karepass. And some exams are there.

Hostel Facilities

There is hostel facility for both girls and boys, In the campus itself. Obviously, the rooms are for sharing 3 students. Many PGs are available outside the campus. Food was good enough for our necessity.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a nice alumni network. They give help us to interact and provide a good platform from students in every aspect. Which is very helpful for us to develop our skills.

Faculty

Faculties are nice actually, they help us more to learn the concepts and move further. They are the ones who motivate us to have some dreams on the branch.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

i initially applied for RNSIT ,BNMIT, SJBIT ,GAT and many but in first round i had got GAT for ECE then i thought of waiting for second round as there was time and then i got SJBIT .i thought about the campus and placements would be good and joined SJBIT. ALL ABOUT SJBIT

I applied to other colleges like RNSIT, JSSATE. I specifically chose this college as I got to know the dept hod was nice with the students and supported students which is totally not true, he always support s the teachers even though they are wrong on their parts. The cutoff of comedk exams were much more in other colleges so I had to join this college itself.
