Recently CBME Cirriculum is introduced,which is more about case based learning enhancing practical knowledge but the 2nd professional year of mbbs was reduced yo 9 months making it difficult to complete the syllabus. Very soon NEXT may replace NEET PG so need some clarity on it

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is about 15000 whereas transport fee is about 40000 per year which is ok but the hostel fee is 120000 with separate electricity bill. At present there are no scholarships but some students are getting jagananna vidyakanuka which is given by govt of AP

There is only one fest yearly ie college day When it comes to library we have 24 hours access to it and all books we need are available Class rooms are also well equiped labs also have all the equipment required and all models and maniquenes required are available in skills lab

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

we have to visit our hospital from 1st year of college, and we start interacting with patients from 1st year onwards, up to 4th year we are practicing in our college and after that, we have to do an internship in our hospital only all qualified students which pass all the prof exams can do the internship, after the internship I will go for higher studies.

About Asram medical college
