Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Amazing. Very experienced faculty (almost 10-20 yrs). The curriculum is similar to that of other top B-schools in India. Case studies, field visits and group projects make it rigorous but productive. Would definitely recommend.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship opportunities are decent. There are companies from all domains - FMCG, BFSI, IT, Durables etc. Some companies are Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Bigbasket, and ICICI Bank. The highest stipend was 100000 per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are decent. The highest package last year was 30 lakhs. The average was around 12 lakhs. 100% placements are observed. The placement committee is very committed. ROI wise it is very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 15 Lakh for two years. This includes tuition fees, student activity fees, mess, hostel, laundry and everything else. There are 2 types of scholarship provided- merit-based and income-based. Since the institution is in Gujarat the annual is hiked at max 5%. The ROI of the course in terms of placements is worth it.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is quite happening. The lush green campus, with modern times building. Nirma has it all cricket ground, football ground, Badminton court, basketball courts, lawn tennis court, indoor sports room etc. Every day an event or the other is happening. There are almost 20 clubs and committees students can be part of. The biggest annual cultural event in IMNU is PR10. Various competitions keeps on going.

Hostel Facilities

5

Girls' hostel rooms are very beautiful. There is a single bed, a study desk and an almirah provided to each along with attached washrooms. There is a night canteen in the hostel only. Mess is common for boys and girls. MBA is a compulsory residential course.

Admission

To apply to the Nirma University MBA program, students need to fill out the form on their IMNU website and must have taken CAT exam. The shortlisted students get a mail of interview and further process. It is a normal process, an Interview along with an impromptu speech on a topic given by them. The cutoff in 2022 was near to 80 percentile. I scored 85 in my CAT.

Interview Experience

4

I was interviewed and then an impromptu speech was to be given to the panel on the topic they suggested. For the interview, it had questions which were personal, academic, GK and situational. For the topic, I got something related to NGOs in India.

About the placement procedure, from the very first Trimester we are being prepared for aptitude tests,Group Discussion rigorously and mostly after our 4th Trimester we get eligible for our placement right after our internship duration and we are being prepared very well for placement season and encouraged for the same. Few of the companies visited EY from the big four then Zomato Alumni's etc., no of companies till now came for placement are 100+ and for different roles also. Highest pacakge is of 12 Lakh CTC.

The placements in my college are quite strong. Many reputed companies visit every year, offering roles across finance, marketing, HR, analytics, and operations. The placement cell actively organizes training sessions, mock interviews, aptitude practice, and industry interactions, which helps students build confidence and develop employability skills

The course is like they say we are not teachers here we are, mentors, to guide you and jot to teach you as you have grown up now so should learn things by your own self so the course is as such and the faculty is like everywhere you will have the same situation it's OK.

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.
