Course Curriculum Overview

The courses taught here as a greater relevance to the ACCA course we are doing. The exams questions are made on the ACCA point of view. This really helps us in doing well in the professional level papers we are going to face.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is heavy when compared to other universities but I had a scholoship which helped reduce my fees upto 30%. CVV with Logic also assures a 100% campus placement by the end of our course.

Campus Life

My campus here at Kochi is not so great infrastructure wise. It is a small space without even a playground. Apart from that the collage is on the top in cleanliness. they always makes sure that campus is neat and tidy. the collage is highly accessable. does have metro stations, railway staions , bus stops, etc in the 2km radius

Admission

By the end of my 12th grade, I had decided to take up a professional course with my degree. Later I derived a conclusion that my profession would be ACCA. I started to search for the institutions that proivde ACCA. That journey ended in Logic. I learned about the structure of ACCA and had a strong mind that I could crack it. In my interactions with Logic, I came to know about the integrated program done together by Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth and Logic which provide a Bcom (Hons.)+ACCA degree, a 3-year course. This programme also provides a 9-paper exemption out of the 13 papers which really attracted me to join CVV.The admission team sent me the application form and asked,me to pay an application fee. Due to the infant stage of the university and requirement of students we had no interviews. I sent my document's soft copy and submitted the hard copy directly once I arrived to visit the campus. Some of the promises made at the admission process are not yet fulfilled which I see as a drawback.

Remarks:

I was not allowed to go outside Kerala for my undergraduate so this was the next best option. The college has a very high ranking and is one of the best in the state. The B. Com course offered by them is also one among the best available.

Admission:

I have chosen Bcom because my ambition is to become an accountant. I think it's nice and easy to study. The exams are conducted by semester wise (1 Sem=6 month) for 3 years. Before every semester exam, there will be a model exam. This course is divided into 6 semesters completing in 3 years. It is fair having enough time for preparation having 42 exams in 3 years. This course will give a good profession because there is a sea of changes in the IT field. Learning new programming code is better and easy.

St Teresa's college is one of the prestigious college in Ernakulam City. And also it provides numerous of opportunities for the students to exhibit their talents and also to find their own abilities and skills. Positive remarks is that the teachers are very nice and smart that their method of teaching is brilliant and we understand everything very quickly. Negative remarks is the political party conflicts each other often. At the time of election even teachers got fight each other with students.

Excellent college providing the best course and best faculties

Remarks:

Our college have more positives and less negatives. The faculty, infrastructure all are good expect that the drinking water facility is so poor and. it is located near to the toilet. So the students are scared about their health.

Bone of the best college (kerala University)

Remarks:

Unwanted and Unnecessary interference of College Management in Government Funds is considered as one of the negative marks of our college. The utilization of PTA fund is not in an effective manner. Unnecessary Political Activities is another problem. Hon. High court of Kerala already banned political activities inside the college. But it can't be controlled deeply.

Chinmaya - An Average Private Deemed to be University With a Good Vision.
