Sumeet Ghegade's Review On MIT World Peace University Of Engineering, Pune

Campus, infrastructure, faculty, atmosphere is very good. Only thing to complain abut i hostel mess and canteens in college. But they are not serious problems. All an all MITCOE is a pretty decent college in pune.

I appeared for JEE 2014 to get admission in this college. Also 12th boards marks were considered with 50% weightage to each. No interview. I scored 126 in JEE and 70% in PCM(boards).

It is according to Pune University. Pretty decent curriculum. Helps overall development. Though it lacks to give students the practical knowledge they need in their fields.

As i am currently in SE so cant say exactly. But from what i have heard from my seniors the internship experience in MITCOE is good compared to other private colleges in pune.

100% placement is claimed by college every year. Pretty decent companies do come to MITCOE for placement. TCS, IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloite, Nvidia, etc are some examples.

Two huge events take place in college every year. AAROHAN-the cultural fest and TESLA the tech fest. Both are great events and students get a nice opportunity to do something besides studies. Other small events also take place.

The fee is pretty much feasible. Compared to other colleges it is less but no compromise with quality. For FE and SE fees does not go above 1 lakh (in 2015).

I am not aware of any loan or scholarship facility offered by college. Though i am not sure but i think there is no such facility.

Campus life is pretty awesome. MITCOE is a participant of robocon and they do pretty well. AAROHAN the cultural group is a very nice platform for students to show case their talent. SUMMIT is organised ny MITCOE every year it is a national level sports competition.

Hostel facilities and mess food is one thing you can complain about. Girls hostel is very near to college campus and rooms are good. But mess is not at all good. Boys hostel is a bit far from college campus which is not a good thing.

Renowned alumni that i know of is Aaroh Velankar. He is a leading actor in Marathi Film industry. Has been in many movies and won many play competitions.

Exam structure is according to pune university. You can find it on exam.unipune.ac.in. FE and SE have online exams included so nice to score good marks.

The faculty of college is average. But you cant expect more from s private college. You'll find majority of FE and SE teachers who have just started teaching career so lack of experience is there. Not bad but also not excellent.
