Likes

Campus of SRM is quite large with 256 acres.
Infrastructure is also good with many amenities like wifi etc.
Hostels are good and I feel they are worth it.

Dislikes

Curriculum is very clumsy and confined.
Frequently given assignments and cycle tests.
Busy life with hectic schedule of exams and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of SRM is mostly confined and this needs to be changed bcuz some topics are left out and also I think coding subjects should have more importance and I feel that part is lagging and also students need to be prepared either for jobs or higher studies.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amdocs, wipro, TCS are some of the companies which offer more jobs and does mass recruitment and students do submit projects either in department or multi disciplinary. Students also get placed in Google and Microsoft but maybe off campus.

Placement Experience

From probably fifth or sixth semester we will be eligible for placement and many companies ranging from small to big do visit campus and as per college report there are 100 percent placement which I'm not sure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in SRM is very high and is increasing every year and I think there needs to be some regulations on this and also college provides various scholarships like founders, merits, chancellor constituency etc. also for department toppers

Campus Life

College helds aaruush in odd semesters and milan in even semesters whose months are not specific and SRM has so many clubs , you can almost find a club for all possible personal interests. The infrastructure of college is so good with many amenities and also has a huge library and campus is of 256 Acres

Hostel Facilities

Yeah hostels are there for everyone, there are many hostels for boys compared to that for girls . The cost of hostel is justified but the cost of mess is actually expensive, the food of the hostel is good except a few dishes rest of them are good actually.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I good a very good rank and I chose CSE with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and I feel the process of selection is ambiguous because they don't reveal the marks and only just give the rank

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
