Course Curriculum Overview
The course consisted of C++ and Java in the beginning. Was quite comfortable with the programming basics. We also had Data Structures and core computer related subjects. The course was good. Practical learning was really important and the college did provide a good hands-on experience with the practice sessions.
Internships Opportunities
The college didn't provide us with any internship. But they did provide us to access their labs and practice coding. This was actually helpful as they gave access to all the equipment's and software and we used to practice and improve our skills. Lab teachers were also there and guided us.
Placement Experience
The placement wasn't so good. Only some small scale companies came in our department and hired students who could crack their interview. Interview process mostly had a general aptitude test followed by the technical interview and the HR round. Few of my friends opted for an interview and most of them opted for higher studies. The package was around 1.5 lac-2 lac.
College Events
We had one event every year. The events were well managed by the college authorities and also well sponsored. Mostly cultural festival took place as the college had many students from the commerce and arts branch. and they came with many unique competitions and ideas. it was fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for us was 25,000 a year. The 3 year course cost me 75,000. It was quite less than the regular engineering college fees who also taught the same thing, a bit here and there. There was also scholarship for the deserving students and so the fees is affordable for everyone.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provided a scholarship to those students who secured good score and also to those who couldn't afford the fees but were deserving. A scholarship was provided to the EBC/OBC students as well. Benefit up to 40,000 were given to them in the fees amount.
Hostel Facilities
The college didn't have any hostel or mess facility. But we had 2 canteens in our campus and the food quality was also good.
Alumni/Alumna
We didn't have any alumni network. Our seniors helped us in the projects.
Faculty
Our faculty was good. The teachers were M.E graduates. They also had a good teaching experience. I was facing difficulty in getting with the algorithms but my teachers helped me in understanding the concepts well. I am really thankful to my teachers for helping me out.
