Basically the course that is BVA is pretty good for people who really wants to get into arts
The foundation year where you get to try everything out
Getting to meet and learn a lot from other artists

Dislikes

The college doesn't have good permanent faculty
The college doesn't have a hostel for being it girls or boys
The fee structure for the college is overrated

Course Curriculum Overview

So Visual Arts is basically the fundamental aspect in this day to day growing visualised world .. so as the first year would be a foundation year .. u'll be given a chance to go through sculpture, painting,graphic and designing sections from which you can select and go for a particular specialization in the next 4 years

Class Size: 129Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees in this college is around 2 lakhs for first year and then 95000 for the other 3 years for people who are not from Karnataka and it'll be lesser if u are a citizen or have done urs pervious year studies in Karnataka... And about scholarships and assistance.. as of my knowledge the college doesn't provide anything

Campus Life

Well this college has two campus... If u are into more of an eco friendly campus i would suggest you to go for the old campus it's so pleasent out there about the new campus... It's still undergoing construction.. there are more buildings to come up including hostels for both boys and girls .. the main event of this college is an exhibition called chitra Sante where artists from all over India come and join in the old campus to take part

Admission

For this course u just have to complete your 12th and apply for the course in this college.. u'll be having an interview selection in the beginning which isn't much difficult u just need some art works and just keep a small portfolio.. the application form will be found on the college website

Heartfelt words to my beloved college!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was clear about choosing this stream as after 12th mind was fixed for preparing UPSC-CSE. So curriculum i had was exactly same which u needed!. Geography is very interesting subject and it further broadened my knowledge after i choosed the subject. We needed to write exam twice a year as many of us know it was a semester based. Question papers were of moderate difficulty and competent enough.

Sweet memories of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Psychology, journalism and english literature were my combination in the BA course. This was an amazing combination, we don't find this combination in any other college. All these subjects were very interesting and every day you learnt something new. Even though I am from aKannada medium, we didn't had much difficulty in understanding the subject. Placement Experience:

For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.
