Likes

No need to ask permission for anything like asking for leave and others.
Very easy to get pass and exams are very easy to write

Dislikes

Canteen food is not good as hotels. And it's little bit expensive

Course Curriculum Overview

As a bachelor of computer applications student I would not recommend foreigners and other state students to come here for studies. But it's not bad for the education. All my faculty members are help us to grow more and they are super friendly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you come without any scholarship means you should pay upto 70 thousand for bca. There are many scholarship available in this college. Mainly we should get 100% scholarship for the sports quota if you played for state or nationals.

Campus Life

This college is for enjoyment and full of cultural activities. Dance, DJ, fashion show etc. If you looking for enjoy the college means this college is for you. The infrastructure is good and the college social media page is very friendly.

Admission

At first I came to know about this college and I just came and put admission for the bachelor of computer applications. Then they told me to pay atleast half amout of fees to enroll me. Then I pay half fees amout to enroll. This is my final year I got 8.1 CGPA but still there is none of the company came to our college.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 5th or 6th semester depending on the course. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. If I receive a campus placement, I plan to start my career and gain industry experience. If I do not get placed through campus, I will continue improving my skills, earn professional certifications, and apply for jobs through off-campus opportunities until I secure a good position.

The faculty members were supportive and explained concepts clearly.They encouraged students to participate in academic and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, Library, laboratries,and a peaceful environment for learning.
The placement cell conducted training programs, aptitude classes,and interviews that helped students improve their career opportunities

Dislikes

This collage should provide more placement opportunities by inviting more companies and offering additional internship program for students
Some class room and laboratory equipments need regular maintenance and upgrade to improve the learning experience
The collage could organise more technical workshops , industrial visits and skill development program for students

A Good college with supportive faculty and decent placements

The faculty members were supportive knowledgeable and always willing to help
good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and transport-facilities
Organize seminar , workshops and placement training to improve skills

Dislikes

Canteen food and facilities were not much good
Extra charge for certificates that should given administrative services

Placement Experience:

Students became eligiable for campus placement in the final year of the course. Companies drom the IT and service sectors visted camplus and offered roles in software devevelopment , testing and devops too.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
