It is very good and challenging course because basically everything nowadays is automated and future is of robotics so it's very important, we do a lot of practical learning in labs and workshop, no research initiative is taken by our college, there are many elective like ECE CSE

Internships Opportunities

No college doesn't provide any internship of their own but it gives us permission to do the same all by ourselves.

Placement Experience

I don't know much about it, because I am still in 5th sem , as per the knowledge of seniors it's ok I guess, company like Amazon, Infosys , Bosch, had visited, average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very affordable , I paid 60k college CET fee and 12000 college fee.

No scholarship , maybe they will help with loans

Faculty

Faculties is very good and they are so cool and support us in bunking classes which is every student dreams, they are very interactive and the standard of teaching is excellent.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
