Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty decent but the first year sucks to be honest because they are all off-topic subjects and you still have to appear that.

I'm currently doing an internship in android development. The training sucked. The teacher was good but he didn't complete even 30% of what he said he would

I am still in the second year so no placements yet but we did have a mock placement kinda workshop where we had to appear interviews and GD rounds.

College Events

This is the best part of engineering! (P.S. Don't judge me for this) The events were pretty good and everyone contributes to make it a success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees constantly keep on increasing and since I belong to a middle-class family it's been difficult to manage the fees.

The teachers are not the best you will ever find but yeah they're not bad either. There are few who are excellent at teaching and few who are themselves confused about what they are saying.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

I applied for good colleges like VJTI, SPIT, VESIT, TCET, KJSomaiya, DJ Sanghvi but because of my less percentile in mhcet(89)and Jee(90)mains,I got into Xaviers. I was also having st. Francis college option, but I read it's Review on quora and was not satisfied from its Review so decided to go for st. Xavier. I got the Automation and robotics branch in VESIT, but I loved IT branch so dropped the offer of that college. The admission process to the college was easy. Staff helped alot. My college accepts admission through gov. Quota i.e. Cap round and jee main percentile As per 2024, mhcet cutoff was 94%. And catholic minority can get admission easily in Xaviers....Read More
