BITSAT - 350/450IIT JEE - 60/120 AIEEE - Don't Remember the score, I opted this because, I could not get good branch at any IIT and BITS Pilani is not less than any IIT, always been in top 10 Institutes of India.

We have two internship sone at end of second year - I did that at Texmaco, Kolkata and they offered accommodation and food but no stipend.Another at end f 4th year at HSBC Bangalore. They offered stipend of 27,500/PM

Placement Experience

Bits Pilani offers great placement, Most of the guys about 95% students get placed and occupy good jobs and designations. PSU, MNC and other Indian companies form the part of placements . Few Big Names are Facebook, Google, Mckinsey.

College Events

Technical - Apoogee with more than 100 colleges participating Cultural - Oasis it runs for 96 hours non stopSports - BOSM this too runs for more than 4 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have heard its expensive now its around 2 lakhs per year now. Hostel is quite cheap and good. During my time semester fee was just 22, 500/ Sem and Hostel fee was 500 / Sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they have tie up with various PSU banks, hence I think loan is easily available to student admitted at BITS.

Campus Life

We use to enjoy a lot Extracurricular, sports and debates. Each association used to come with various activities every week to keep students engaged in all activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room were mainly single rooms. Hostel is quite cheap and good. Hostel fee was 500 / Sem. Each room had free internet line.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We have a Alumani Network Association with name BITSAA. Alumani of BITS are found across the world with good networks and support. Currently I am in London and have seen a good Alumni meet happening every week

Exam Structure

Chilled out Most of the exams were open book and other were surprise component so that student is regular with classes.

Faculty

Faculty is one among the best. Each Division Engages best minds of the country.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in campus placements starting from their second last semester.Some phenomenal companies that visited placement last year was BCG , Bain n Co . , Jane Street ,Amazon , Flipkart .Also there are many companies /startups which visit for non tech roles like PM / data (Xpedia) and many more .As for the tech and core roles if you have a CG above 8 you will be sure shot placed . Highest packages go upto 2 crores for quant roles since they are highly paid for .Approximately 81 % of the students get placed , I have personally seen students with a CGPA of even 5 get placed a job of 14 Lakhs per annum .My plans after getting the degree are to work in finance .

Many companies like ultratech, tcs, tata capital etc comes here every year but they give Placement not more than 30 students, however package is also low like 350000 per month. Highest package gives by ultratech which is 27000 per month only

My experience in this college is so fantastic

Placement Experience:

Bachelor and master's students are eligible for placement. Almost 78%students got placement in B.A social science and in many courses.the highest salary package is 35 LPA and the average salary package is 15 LPA. Mostly 80% of students got placement. Many local and well-settled companies visited this college. I am preparing csir net Jrf to became a professor and I want to become a professor in this college.

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
