Because I want to get an entry in the aviation field of India. First I wanted to be a pilot but the fees for the pilot training to too high so I selected to choose aircraft maintenance engineering course which is a certification course. I heard Indian aerospace and engineering is the best college for aircraft Maintenance engineering course so I choose this college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, this college provides internship in the field of maintenance of aircraft in the college MRO. They give starting stipend of 3000-5000 rs.
Placement Experience
They provide assistance for job training (OJT) of students. After ojt they provide placement assistance for students who have good character and academic records in theory as well as practical. Around 70% of the students get placements in various airlines and MROs with good initial salaries. Students can also get jobs in the Techpub and teaching fields.
College Events
There are not many events is being celebrated in this college, but that few events are best. There a sports day in the month of November or December. Every year seniors organize Freshers party for the new juniors. And all juniors organize the farewell party for the final year students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college are very high as compared to other fields of engineering. Approximately the total fees for the full course is 5-6 lacs. Which you need to give 2 lac 10 thousand at the time of admission then 10 thousand every month during the course. And the fees for hostel facility is one Lac per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the sha- shib group conduct scholarship exams every year and the students who scored good marks they get discount in the fees up to 10% - 30% depending upon the marks scored in the scholarship exam.
Campus Life
The campus of the college is not too big because the whole area of the campus is covered by the friendship-fokker aircraft, all the facilities are adjusted in that remaining space. The number of males and females are almost same, but boys are little more. Infrastructure is good with well-ventilated classrooms. Labs are spacious with all required aircraft's parts, components, and radio components.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are in good condition with good ventilation and there is also WiFi facilities for the students in the hostel, there also a washing machine facility in the hostel for the students who don't know to wash their clothes, overall the hostel is in very good condition. Quality of food in the canteen is good but not very good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, all the members of the alumni are very good in behavior, they are always ready to help the students and provide the path of life. Aviation is a field in which every person need to respect every other person, so senior is very helpful.
Exam Structure
In the overall course of aircraft maintenance engineering, there is a total of 5 semesters in two and half years and 6 months OJT in the airindia or various other airlines and MROs. After that, if the student wants to become an aircraft maintenance engineer, then he/she needs to clear the modular exams
Admission
First I made a call to college,then they told me to come to college. Then I visited the college ,then they told me about the future growth of aviation Field in India. Then they told the fees structure of college and facilities in college. After listening to them I bought the admission form and filled it.
