Course Curriculum Overview

The course i have choosen is BBA and i have choosen it because it is covering all the aspects that one should learn and know to do business or job. It gives a lot of knowledge but the college can improve a little but by providing more real lofe cases in the study. The exams are moderate in level and it is of 3 hours

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of internship opportunities given to everyone and very nice and well reputed companies come in our college like amazon , decathlon, icici etc ehich provide different roles to students to help them to progress.

Placement Experience

In the last year of graduation, students get eligible for campus placements and many companies visit like Amazon, Vedanta, and decathlon, etc. We have a placement cell in our college where all the problems of students are solved.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college can be beard by everyone because the average cost of a course is about 150000 and if one is not able to pay this they can grt scholarship advantages on the basis of there previous marks in board exams which will help them to decrease their fee.

Our college provides us almost everything that a college should like it conduct festivals like panache was conducted recently in the month of January by commerce department and also sports day was also conducted where everyone participated and enjoyed. One can read any type of book in the library and we can study also in the study without any disturbances.

Admission

So the admission process of my college is very simple and fast. They solve your queries very accurately and calmly. One can easily find the admission form on the college portal and the cut off of the college is high because of the system and reputation of the college. But they have reservation seats for backward caste, one parent child and children with any disabilities. The exams duration is 3 hours which is good amd the wuestion papers are of moderate level so that every student can solve them.

About college placement, there is a placement cell which provides the information about the companies in 5th sem. We have to fill a form where we agree to join the placement cell opportunity when companies arrive. As so many big companies arrive the chances of success is less. But if you give your best you will definitely get selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of course is all theory but if we talk of it for real world it's not much that. Course should be more focused towards skill builder and not reading only. No practical hand experience over computer applications that are actually needed like excel advance or formulas. BBA generally offers various specialisation in the last year but they only have HR and if anybody wants to go for other options like marketing or finance which are basic for all they try to get them enrolled in HR ONLY. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO BRING MARKETING OR FINANCE FACULTY FOR STUDENTS.

Review Of GGDSD College

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Punjab university offers admission to those students those have good grades in class 12th. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
