Inside the IIT bhubaneswar

The course I took was electronics and communication engineering. I took this course by my own interest, the course has good scope of having good future, and moreover the the future is highly related to what we study in this course(not everything will be studied but only few aspects), electronics and communication is what we are using in our daily life, so studying this course will ultimately have a good scope of good future because in the coming generation the use of communication and electronics will be too good. So coming to our college there are some concerns where the improvement is required.In our college only a few core courses regarding ece will be studied compared to other colleges, so that is a main drawback,one can be strong in their course by getting good knowledge of covering as many parts of the course ,so it's better to have few more subjects of our course. The main exams will be conducted twice in the semester which will be relevantly though.

I didn't got any internship. I tried but didn't selected. The internship opportunities are very less in our campus. There are only few companies (compared to remaining IITs and other colleges) interested to come to our campus and only few people got selected . Siemens role-software intern - 40k, silicon labs, DATOMS-Full Stack Developer, Firmware Engineer-Rs. 50,000 for 2 month,Volga Infosys-VFX and Motion Graphics Intern ,Journalism and Media Intern-5,000 to 15,000 (based on performance ), Larkai Healthcare- AI/Data Science -20,000 to 30,000,Signion-20000 INR, KnowWize Solutions -React/ Python Developer-20,000 per month, Perceptive Analytics - Perceptive Analytics Full Time, Azul-SDE-60,000. These are the few companies offered internships.

Students are elligible to get campus placements from 7 th semester onwards. untill mid of 8th semester.Few students also got pre placement offers due the 6th semester summer vacation.those who got internships had a chance of getting pre placement offers. Accenture JAPAN (highest 42ctc, average18ctc) ,BPCL(highest 19.48 lpa and average 16lpa),HPCL(highest 16.97 lpa),jlr(highest 23.52lpa) ,Media.net(highest 39.31 lpa and average 18 lpa),Zomato(highest 52 lpa), MathWorks(highest 25.91lpa), Futures First(13.13 highest, average 10 lpa),tata steel( highest 12 lpa average 9 lpa), total of 80-90 offers are made and overall approximately 53% are placed. After my graduation I wanna work for 2-3 years and then go to higher studies.

The tution fees per semester is 1,15,000 , and in our college there is no increase in tution fee. The total fee is 1,33,000 per semester which includes 18,000 for mess fee and 15,000 for Gymkhana and 1,00,000 for academic purpose.There will be mcm scholarship for the elligible students and some financial aid for the students.The fee remission policy is available for the students and it will be depends on the parents income and this fee involves only the academic fee and for the students who has reservations will have even less fee to pay.The fee remission will be different for different students and it will completely reimbursed for the student whose parental income is less than 1 lakh and the amount reimbursed will be decreased as the parental income increases. I joined in this campus to complete my btech.Stipends will be available for the teacher assistants (students of dual degree,mtech,PhD ).These days the opportunities of getting campus placement is getting less.

There are mainly four fests conducted yearly once. One is annual technical fest wissenaire which will conducted in March of every year. One is cultural fest called Alma fiesta which is conducted in the month of March or April,one is sports fest ashvamedha in November and the last one is E summit which is regarding enterpreneurship and it will conducted in January month.The books contained in our library is pretty good, almost every course books will be available.The library is also getting better and better by increasing the no of books .The classrooms are pretty decent as they are newly constructed and the architecture was good.There won't any technical problems in the classroom (no issues with projectors).Campus contains a good student activity centre,where quite a few basketball and volleyball courts and courts for indoor games are also available.There are 10 clubs for students which are very good and useful for Student,the Gymkhana provides good equipments for the clubs.

One thing I loved the most is the hostel of our campus. The hostel is really good, maintained nicely. students will be provided a single throughout their btech or upto the graduation. The rooms are very much good, a single bed,fan,a good cupboard and balcony which will be sufficient for an undergraduate student.The mess food won't be great,it's need be improved.The breakfast is good compared to lunch and dinner.The registration process is done in online mode and it will be available in campus website. The registration process is easy,it won't take much time.

I got the admission in IIT bhubaneswar by writing the jee advanced entrance exam,there by I qualified and secured 7273 rank in the open category and due to obc reservation I got 1357 rank in the obc category.One can elligible to get the admission is only by qualifying both the jee mains and advanced examination,the qualification scenario will be different for different reservation categories. reservation places a key role in getting the admission, a person getting low marks and having reservation will have more chances of getting admission than the person getting some good marks of non reservation category or open category.The application form,fees and dates will be available in the institute website.The entrance exam will be quite hard ,so one must be prepared so well in order to qualify,it will be a 6 hour examination so one must have a good patience level.The admision process for us is in online mode,few things won't be clarified,so the offline mode would be a better option.

There won't be any group discussion rounds or interviews in order to join or getting admission in our campus.The only way to get the admission is to qualify the both jee mains and jee advanced examination.The qualification scenarios will be different for different categories (reservation categories).
