Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus and knowledge that the curriculum provided is good for both practical and industrial knowledge. Curriculum prepare us both practical and theoretical knowledge. I think college should focus more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge and should change attendance criteria. Frequency of examination are very fast and hectic everything gets rush.

From 3rd year students in our college are eligible for placement which are held in our campus. Wipro, Infosys.tcs,etc companies visited in our college.no of offers per year are about 800. Highest-4500000lpa Average -40000lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the fees is regionable and fees Hike is also decent. Complete cost of my course will be around 1000000 which includes all factors There are many scholarship available for the students based on their percentage,caste,state. There is very good employment in our college

Campus Life

Annual fests of our college is pravaah which is held once In a year around April or May. There is good range of books and journals available in the library of our college. Overview of sports and culture is average in our college. No there is no such groups.

Admission

Minimum 45 percentage marks in physics chemistry and mathematics. Reservation is not available is general category. Application process through reap( Rajasthan engineering admission process). There is No need of improvement. Admission process was smooth but lengthy.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

I had taken admission through REAP councelling.it is basically based on 10th 12th and jee score card . You can apply for this online .anyone 12th passed can apply for the councelling. Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
