Placement help was not much helpful as it did not have enough contacts in the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was reasonably good as the faculty was extremely supportive. But the focus was driven towards completing the syllabus but there no special arrangemnets to teach towards modern techniques in engineering which are applicable the actual industry.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There were many opportunities to avail scholorships. As the students from the SC/St bacjground have to meet few formalities to get 100% tution fees deduction as per the Khalsa College Charitable Society. Moreover, special discounts were given to meritous students at the time of admissions or if they have exceptional perfomance n each semester. The college also welcomed NGOs to provide financialsupport to the students.

Campus Life

The campus was quite spacious providing all the academic and sports facilities. The college welcomed students fromall backgrounds, they were given proper support and security in the campus. every year cultural and sports events were organised within the campus and students were also encouraged to take part in Tech Fests organised in difeerent colloges.

Admission

The adimission process was performed through counselling on the PTU website, where we need to meet with the eligibilty i.e. more than 60% in 12th grade (PCM). I just needed to search the specific college from the PTU website and fill in all the necessary academic details. Then I got a response from the counselling team after 72 hours where it was mentioned that the seat is reserved for the specific course selected at the time of application.

Overall decent college but need several improvements

Placement Experience:

Students in semester 7 become eligible for placements. Tcs , aacenture , josh technology geneally visits our college. Previous year from a batch of 60 students. 30 students were placed . The highest package was of 10 lpa provided by josh technology and average package is 4lpa provided by tcs. Mostly 60-70 % students are placed in companie during placements. After getting degree i plan doing masters from iit . I have applied for gate exam for masters and preparing for it.

Pros of taking Admission in KCET
