Fees and Financial Aid

If you're looking to apply for a scholarship, you can definitely do so on your own. It's always a good idea to check out the eligibility criteria and application process before you get started. Keep in mind that the exact amount of scholarship you'll receive may depend on various factors such as your academic record, financial need, and any other specific requirements set by the scholarship provider. When it comes to course fees, it's important to note that they may vary depending on your VITEEE ranking. It's a good idea to research the fee structure beforehand to avoid any surprises. You may also want to consider other expenses such as textbooks, materials, and transportation costs. Regarding hostels, it's true that they can be quite expensive. If you're looking for affordable accommodation options, you may want to explore other alternatives such as shared apartments, homestays, or rental rooms. It's always a good idea to weigh the pros and cons of each option before making a decision.

Campus Life

1.5

The campus life can be a bit challenging at times. While the academic rigor is certainly top-notch, it can feel like everyone is in a perpetual race to be the best. From grades to rankings, it can sometimes seem like every small detail of your life on campus is dependent on your performance. This can create a lot of pressure and stress, especially for those who are struggling to keep up with the expectations. However, it's important to remember that there's more to life than just academic success. There are plenty of opportunities to explore different interests and hobbies, make new friends, and develop meaningful relationships with peers and professors alike. So, while the rat race may seem all-consuming at times, it's important to take a step back and remember that there's a whole world out there waiting to be explored.

Admission

It is worth noting that the admission process here is solely based on VITEEE ranking, and no other reservations benefits are provided. This means that the admission decision is primarily based on the performance of the candidate in the VITEEE exam. While this approach ensures a level playing field for all students, it also puts a lot of pressure on them to perform well in the exam. However, the institute has a reputation for providing quality education and career opportunities to its students, which makes it a popular choice among aspiring engineers.

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements .
