Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

1.computer science is in demand nowdays and this college is affiliated to ipu and i got cs in it so eventually all these factors led me to this coourse 2.curriculum is not really good enough for real world as most of the course is out dated(in all ipu colleges) so u have to prepare urself for employment purposed 3.couse should be updated and subjects should be chosen according to branches. its just a waste of time to learn all the codes and apply them in a 90s code runner which isnt even used nowdays when u have AI to help in new gen code runners . 4. frequencey is high as 3 exams in 6 months with practicals are alot to handle and no time is left for extra curricular activites and self development

Fees and Financial Aid

1.tution fees is hiked every year by 5-10 k in all ipu private colleges which isnt really a good thing beause spending 1.5 lakh in a college every year like this where u dont really get good placement isnt worthit according to me. 2. only there is tution fees which is asked in this college, u dont get any book either but you can get book bank for 2000 from library however you get library membership which can be used to issue books (3 at a time) 3.financial scholarships arent really looked in these colleges specially after ipu didnt renewed merit based scholarships in 2022, but they offer u documents for loan 4.campus employment isnt a thing here, u dont get much opportunities for internship, they dont even offer u a student email for student benefits around globe.

Campus Life

3

campus is not too god but is great compared to most of the ipu colleges as they dont have one ;P. but u dont really get to hop on any time u want . its only allowed to roam around campus during recess and after 2.30 when college is about to be over. 1. college societies do host some small intercollege fests but they are mostly dj and dance type but as an college student u get time to participate in other colleges fest as kashmere gate metro is near the college so get going whenever you want 2. college library has only academic books which u can issue 3 at a time 3.faculties are good and enough helpful for college exams . you dont have to worry about 75 percent attendance much so u can give time to other things 4.there are many clubs in colleges for every field so u will get plenty of time to interact with seniors and be part of something bigger

Admission

1.admisson is done mainly on the basis of jee mains ranking and cutoff is around 70-90 percentile depending on the course you chose to study, new branches have been added this year so the cutoff goes way more than before 2.to apply in this college you have to participate in ggsipu counseling which is done on the basis of jee marks and you will be alloted seat meritwise. 3.reservations are not available as this is an private college however u can avail through management quota as 10-15 percent seats are filled through management quota depending on ipu notice 4.difficulty level of jee is known by everyone but college exams are not that hard , there are 2 sems every year for four year in btech and in every sem there are 2 mid terms and 1 final term , exam center is alloted by ipu in final sem 5. admisson process dont really need much improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
