I am a computer science b.tech student.it is a 4 year course. It contains 2 semester in each year. It is conducted by 8 semester exams to pass this course.each semester contain core subjects and common course and also contains practical lab exams.

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3rd year onwards, we get placement offers in our college and many students got their placements in several companies. All students are actively participating in all placement drives.it is a good opportunity for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

I have merit seat,so the fees is 35,000. Others have to pay extra 5500 for other activities. The university provides many scholarship opportunities like nsp,grant ,etc.I got scholarship for one time in grant scholarship.

This college provides all kind of extra curriculum activities other than teaching. It includes arts day,sports day and technical festivals also .For extra references in subjects, the library provides extra texts and referrals

Admission

I was admitted by the process of keam. I got the rank of 24665.due to this I got a seat here by merit in 1st allotment.the admission process held in a good environment and condition.i like this college very much.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Life in PEC

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home.
