Course Curriculum Overview
It is quite good, a good blend of technical and research related work. We have taught mathematics along with programming languages like C and C++ and data structures in C and C++. And you can choose electives in third and fourth sem as well.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in MNNIT for our course. But we can only avail only 2 months of internship. In fields like data analyst,data scientist, business analyst, Software developer, web developer and various ed tech companies.
Placement Experience
Placements in our batch is decent for last year. Highest package is of 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is of 10 lakh per annum. And placement records are also good out of 21 students 19 students got the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total annual fees for M.Sc. in Mathematics and Scientific Computing is 1 lakh 39 thousands which includes 25 thousand mess fees per semester and 12 thousand hostel fees per semester. Yes, you can also avail scholarship like Up-Scholarship, INSPIRE, etc
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not that much good. But the placement opportunities and quality of education is nice. There are lot of clubs like dancing singing robotics aeronautics and others. There is also a gym inside the campus for boys and girls.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is quite good. We have been provided with a triple seater room for first year and in second year we will get single seating room. Mess food is nice. We have been provided with breakfast lunch evening snack and dinner.
Admission
It was smooth, we didn't face any issues in the admission process. M.Sc. students can take admission in IITs and NITs through the IIT-JAM Exam which was conducted once a year, in February. The cutoff for Mathematics in 2023 was 24 marks out of 100.
