Likes

I love the environment of my college campus, we get opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities
Relation with my faculties is nice and they are very friendly and they help us in our studies
Infrastructure is good, and the course ofcourse I love this

Dislikes

Sports and cultural activities are not that much frequently done
We should be exposed to real patients more..it is not sufficient
The only thing I dislike is the fees structure which is a bit pricey and all can't afford

Course Curriculum Overview

I would say it was my dream to be a doctor that's why I choose this course. As it is practical based course,of course we are being taught likewise to apply in the real world. It should focus more on practical methods Assessments are being taken regularly.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have to do internship in our college after passing our MBBS course of 4.5 years. It is done in the same hospital for 1 year...then we will be able to get the registration. We have to learn how to treat patient in that period of internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

It increases after 2 to 3 batches by a huge amount As for my course I have to spend approx 67.5 lakhs in total that is in 4.5 years Only NSP are available..no other scholarships. No campus employment. No stipend

Campus Life

Founday day College fest on September or November Approximately all books and journals related to the course are available in the library. Pretty much smart classes are there in our college Monthly we are being assigned to join sport activities Cultural committee,sport committee are there

Hostel Facilities

Bed, light,fan,cupboard and combined bathroom, nothing else Mess meal quality is not upto the mark..we get only one item and rice. Registration for hostel and affordability is done during the admission process only. Neither rented not pg

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

I had to give NEET for getting admission DME website has all the informations I didn't avail any reservation benefits as I am general 3 internal assessments and 1 University exam per year and class tests It was a smooth and hassle-free process

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Review of Tripura Medical college and Hospital

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

I did tried for other colleges. But i didn't get the chance as my marks were not up to the mark and also, there are huge numbers of students ahead of me. The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
