The level of professors are really very good. Moreover they are really good clinicians
The fest of the college is very soulful.
Moreover the surrounding is also very good

Food is not very good but one can manage

Course Curriculum Overview

Course and curriculum is followed as per guidelines given by NMC. TEACHING and learning method is lecture based. Bedside clinics starts from 2nd professional. Good amount of patient flow is present. Seminar and quiz are also done.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1189530 per year

Internships Opportunities

Rotatory one year internship is compulsory and is done in Dr.BRAM Teaching Hospital which associated with Tripura Medical College. Stipend of Rs 14000 is given per month for this ,and adequate patient load.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees has seen a hike in last 2 years . Moreover new session which is going to start will require approx 67 lakh rupees for total completion of course. No such scholarship is available but government based scholarship can be availed by students.

Campus Life

There is a need to improve the infrastructure. As new instruments are not present. But its improving. New departments are opening every year to increase the exposure of student. Social life is chill as the college campus is in sub urban area,one have to go to main township to avail many facilities

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not every good. Though basic amenities are full filled. Food quality is 2.5 out of 5. Hostel is alloted few days before college starts and there is separate accommodation for first year ug students.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

1. One who is eligible and cleared NEET cut off can seat in counselling process 2. Counselling occurs through official website of DME,Government of Tripura 3. For General category student cut off remains 400 approx, may change in every year

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
