Likes

Infrastructure is well organised and clean
There is a new auditorium which is constructed previous year
The class rooms are big and Comfortable and we enjoy alot

Dislikes

The mess food is the worst which are run by the 4 th yrs students
The hostel rooms are shared by 2 students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is as per CBME curriculum which is strickh followed by the college authority and there is well exposure to patients , they give us the opportunity to diagnose the cases and all There is exams every semester ends and also there is exams after completion of each topic

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 5400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is 1 year of internship which is cumpulsory for all after passing final year ,they had to work in 12 departments one after the other ,there are shifts in which they need to work , they can take the hostel if they want too but not the food

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees along with the hostel fees and mess is 54lakhs for 4.5 years and in the internship we get around 15k per month There are many scholar ships students can apply on and there is hikes every year now the students are paying 15lakhs per year

Campus Life

There is many tournaments I can enjoy , there is Fest every year which students enjoy a lot , there is socialisation and there is enjoyment in evry thing I love this college life a lot there is ups and down and there is hardships too

Admission

Neet UG qualification is needed Then there is a merit list and as per your marks in the neet ug u get seat the exams are taking place every 6 months and having a final university exam which is conducted by tripura university Some of the seats are reserved for ST ,SC and ALL INDIA QUOTA (AIQ) The application form is provided my the college itself along with your merit list , the hostel facility is well equipped with electricity and water facility

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
