Course Curriculum Overview

Yess, course and curriculum are carried according to NMC guidelines..... It is being followed strictly..... There are exposure of students with patients also in clinical classes for better learning...

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is of 12 months, almost 14k salary is given per year.. In every department on an average 1 month duty has to do.. Interns can stay in hostel but they are not allowed for mess food. They has to manage their own food..

Fees and Financial Aid

For the batch 2020,fees was 12 lakhs per year.. But it has been increased for the batch 2023 so currently it is almost 15 lakhs per year.. The fees included everything tution fees, sports, library.. You don't need pay any extra after that..

Campus Life

Overall the college is good.. Infrastructure is also okay.. Huge ground is there for Cricket football, each year college week also there.. Which includes Multiple sports events and cultural programs, literature events

Hostel Facilities

One room for 2 individual,... And for mess fees, hostel fees, there is no such extra money is required.... The overall fees includes everything.. There are separate hostel for 1st year boys.. And then from 2nd year, 3rd, final year stays in combined hostel..

Hostel Fee: INR 3600 per year

Admission

You have to seat NEET examination conducted by NMC.. Then there will rank accordingly which admissions are taken.. Also there is reservation seat for SC, ST students and there is also seat reserved for all india quota students

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
