Hostel rooms and friendly people and understanding seniors
One of the best teachers their lecture are better then any online courses available
Capmus location there is peace in the campus

Dislikes

Tuition fee is too high and it is now above 60 lakh
Less vacations are there and hectic routine
Strict attendence criteria min 80 percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are very good regular posting are there from 2nd year itself. Patient load in hospital is good so we get good exposure. Attendence criteria is very strict. And there is regular assessment atleast 3 in one month plus 2 sem and 1 pre university examination and finals so its a bit hectic

Placement Experience

After mbbs students can join as jr for salary of around 50k per month Not companies visit in campus Seniors usually focus on neet pg and inicet exams after mbbs(most of them got good ranks as well like under 500 and 200)

Fees and Financial Aid

There is bond and tuition fee was 54 lakhs in our time it is increased now it is around 64 lakhs. Tuition fee is 40 lakh for 4 and half year others fees are for hostel mess library etc. Installments are not available one yearly payements are accepted

Campus Life

Name of college feast is embriyon and it is held for 7 to 10 days and college is closed during that period. There is newly made auditorium And sports rooms are available and a ground for football ,cricket and volleyball

Mess is managed by final year student. food is usually good (bangali food) and roti for north indians Chicken fish eggs are given frequently aling with dal and a veg dish for vegeterian people and we share hostel room so 2 person per room.with bed and tables chairs and almari

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

Neet is mandatory All the info is provided on dme tripura website Scholarships are available for obc,st and sc and ews Admission process is smooth. Cut off is generally 400 marks for general category And around 300 for sc and st it is much lower and AIQ cut off 550 plus for general

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

I did tried for other colleges. But i didn't get the chance as my marks were not up to the mark and also, there are huge numbers of students ahead of me. I got into my college through the counseling session. The exam accepted in my course is NEET. The cutoffs and eligibility do change yearly. So it should be checked always....Read More

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
