Likes

As I am outsider and Hindi speaking so hear I Dont face any language barrier because Hindi is spoken along Bengali language
According to private colleges fee of this college is less and affordable and extra charges are not there
Hospital is good and patient outflow is good so clinical experience is good faculty is experienced and have good knowledge college is supportive

Dislikes

Food can be better for outside students and their are less dairy products like milk and curd
Only 10 days holiday for Durga Puja there is no other holiday
Campus could be better with more facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

It's MBBS so it is 5 year course 4 years classroom and 1 year internship As of now I am satisfied from teaching of this college have good faculty And hospital is government and society regulated so patient flow is also good Professor are experienced nd have good clinical knowledge Each year have 2 sem and one pre University Then their is main exam University for qualifying for next year So there are total 9 semester in this course

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Out total fee including hostel and mess is approximately 1200000 per Year and it is reasonable their are no extra charges It was one of the most affordable while I was taking admission Total fee is total of 54 lac for 5 year Scholarship is not given from college And students passing from college have good jobs and earning well And in intership we get 15-16 thousand stipend

Campus Life

There are diff festival happening in college There is fresher Then college annual festival including sports and culture program Durga Puja Saraswati Puja Diwali celebration All books are available in library there are both ac condinting and non AC library Sports activities are yearly there are also cricket league and football league held Sports ground ac conditioned auditorium

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are 2 bedroom with common lat bath and water heater room are big and specious As I am AIQ student I need roti and sabji But we get hear rice and nonveg and veg both options and roti in dinner only Meal is okay in taste Hostel and mess are very affordable 2000 for hostel per month and 3000 for food per month

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

There are some criteria You have to pass neet UG There is different cutoff criteria for local and AIQ As I am AIQ my cut off was high In neet UG 2021 I have scored 543 and I got admitted If you get 400 and above you can get admission For AIQ 20 seats are reserved For admission first we have to do full registration form on DME Tripura official website There selecte course mbbs and apply for tripura medical college It is 5 year course Reservation is not for AIQ but if you belong to North East you get priority

Nice college to study and budget friendly

Likes

Here the college gives priority to studies as well as clinics.
Exams are held for the assessment and question papers are of good standard.
There are no hidden fees taken.You have study hard to get the pass mark.

Dislikes

No scholarship for general category students
Not much scope of extracurricular activities
No big feasts and food is not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things taught to us are relevant and up to the mark . But there is need in improving the practical part. Anatomy practical were too much hactic. The pharma practical is done very nicely.Everything is taught to us in the class itself

Living my best choice!

Likes

The hostel arrangement of 2 persons per room.
The arrangement of books, journals and reading room.
The studing process with 3D visuals, lab experiments and necessary instruments.

Dislikes

Regular classes without sufficient breaks.
Sometimes extra classes are held on our games period.
There are no active clubs. Fests are held once in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a noble profession of saving lives. The present curriculum is preparing students for the future by teaching them thorough real life cases and scenarios. Exams are also being taken regularly so that the students study regularly.

Likes

College is good for study. And I am happy to study here.
Environment is good here . This helps in our study.
Faculty expertise good, teaching methods and mentorship is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams frequently occurring 4 time in year .and timing nearly 3 hours.the frequency and timing of exam along with perspective on their difficulties level is manneged well ...so I am happy to this college.

College campus since its away from hospital area
Hostel buildings since its clean more than expected
College gardens since they planted different plants and flowers

Dislikes

Hostel mess since its not that hygienic
College washrooms since its not that hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview:

Better job opportunities and my family influenced me to choose this course MBBS is a professional course which has many hardships but also helps us to become stronger and deal with the real world and also I enjoy this course whole heartedly I would like to suggest that there should be more smart classes and group studies for better improvement The exams are not much difficult if you study regularly

Likes

The college faculty is very helpful and supportive towards the students .
The college hospital is one of the best hospital in the state .
The friends I made after coming to this college

Dislikes

The mess food is very bad and it is very hard to eat the same food over and over
The hostel bathrooms are not at all hygenic .
The college building is very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement during their internship period . They can be hired as junior residents in different hospitals or they can work as medical officer at various private nursing homes like Asha , disha etc. After completing internship students can also take admission in higher courses li MD and MS . I plan to take admission in MD after completing this course.

Mess food - specially dinner 😞😞, it could improve
Less extracurricular activities and small campus
Hostel rooms which are too congested and uncomfortable bathrooms

I chooses this college as it is nearby my home state . The weather as well as the food habits are quite similar as that of people of Assam .Majority of the people are Bengalis but u will find many tribal people too.The admission process is also smooth .u just have to register in the Tripura counselling even if u are from some other state. I did tried for other colleges. But i didn't get the chance as my marks were not up to the mark and also, there are huge numbers of students ahead of me. Marks should be above 250 in NEET Application forms will be available in the website itself in dme.tripura I.e in directorate of medical education along with Application fees and dates Yes reservation is available for lower classes such as st,obc and general too Examinations are easy to clear if you study everyday regularly and attend classes regularly For improvement purpose I feel that the admission process should be held online too...Read More

My college

After completing my class 12 , I took the NEET UG exam 2022. I qualified the neet exam and based on my state rank I registered on the DME tripura website for admission in this college . After a few days allotment list was published on the dme tripura website and I was alloted a seat in this college. After collecting my allotment letter from the Dme tripura office ,I went to the college paid the 1st year fees and did rest of the necessary paperwork and finally my admission was completed ....Read More

Facilities provided by TRIPURA MEDICAL COLLEGE

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too.
