Likes

Classes are regular shimla is a preety city
Our clinical posting are good and well maintained
Weather of the shimla is very nice but sometimes cold

Dislikes

Washrooms are very unhygienic and don't include any dustbin
Campus and infrastructure is very bad and unexpected
Hostels are very from the college campus and there is no allowance of electric heater as here is very cold wheather College is never thought about us

Curriculum is good in nursing, Have strict curriculum which makes us good curriculum is good In course I suggest improving the pressure that students take in their clinical area The exam is conducted twice in 6 months in the Internal exam and once in 6 months the annual exam

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees is 58000and the hostel fees is 61000 there is no schorlarship is provided for general category and no financial aids is provided to us Campus is not good infrastructure of our college is very bad washrooms don't maintain any hygiene .

Annually nursing weak is celebrated and women's day and tuberculosis day are celebrated on March .sports and extracurricular activities is very less sports only played during nursing weak once a year There is no social group

Admission

Eligibility of the course is four years application form is found on the amru site and application fees also given to the university Reservation under Himachal pradesh provide state seat and fees concession which is limited .The frequency of final exam is once in six month and Internal exam occured three to four times per semester paper pattern is from simple to complex .Under the atal medical University admission process is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course, bsc nursing is very common these days because of the job opportunities and money. This is the same reason for me to take this course and also I like biology subject so I thought it will be easier for me to study nursing. But actually it's very different. We need to work really hard in this field. It's very hard to study. We need to focus more on studying other than anything. I just got into the college. It's been only 2 months so we are only having weakly tests now. And the tests are ok. Most of the students get passed.

My nursing journey in Igmc shimla

Course Curriculum Overview:

The timing that we get for wrotten exam is 3 hours and it is of 75 marks. We get 40 sheets and students mostly try to fill all tjose 40 sheets the difficulty level is moderate as direct questions are asked. No out of syllabus questions are asked.

The nursing college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nursing is all about skills, and the more practice you do, the better...i spent most of my time in hospital with patients for at least 9 months ever year....the duty used to be of 6 hours and the rest 2 hours we used to have a class till 4 pm Ut was a bit hectic but it really helped me in clearing all my concepts and improving my skills in handling a patient also the internship program is like cherry on top so good it covers everything you learn in 4 years and makes you ready for the outer world....I would say in terms of improvement, they need to reschedule their classes and clinicals timing because it gets draining and we don't get much time to study, so we usually just study because we used to be so exhausted.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good every student gets placement with the best perks and benefits. The average package is 2-3 lakh and the highest can be any number depending on the skills you have and the communication skills. I will prefer to do a master's in the same field from the foreign institutes due to top my interest in this field.

BAMS worth it or not

I applied for other colleges too.This college was my 3rd option after NIA jaipur and ITRA jamnagar . I didn't get NIA and i didn't opted for another round to get ITRA as it doesn't provide hostel facilities. As for asmission it is done through your result in neet organised by NTA . Cutoff goes high likewhen i admitted it was around 570 out of 720 but nowadays it is 610/720....Read More
