Dislikes
- The integration of the Workers who are non- medical staffs with the medical staffs need to be improved
- The maintenance of the water facility need to be monitored from time to time
- The Sports ground can be upgraded to the a stadium facility
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum has enough time to become a good doctor and compulsory internship . It has real time practical classes and theory class in front of patient. The exam time must be increased . The gap between the two exam is less which need to be increased.
Internships Opportunities
There is mandatory internship of 1 year across various departments after the Completion of the academic Curriculum and the college give 14.5 K as stipend during that internship period of 12 months .
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Fees structure is 54 lakh for all students which is divided into 4.5 years for which we pay 12 lakh per annum including the half year we pay 6 lakh Which includes both tution & hostel fees. Scholarship from the NSP website is available but from college no scholarship is there. After completion we need to sit for a written exam to get a job
Campus Life
Campus life is good enough for the budding doctors and have the required facilities. Books and journals are available in the library. Separate section for journal is kept. Classroom has digital class facility with projector and good sound system along with AC in the lecture halls. Sports and curriculum is good . There are events for sports and cultural in college fest , foundation day.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility comprises of 2 students in each room, 2 beds , 2 table 2 chairs , 2 cupboards , 2 fan in each room There is seperate hostel for boys and girls. Meal and menu has breakfast , lunch and dinner for veg and non- veg separate menu
Admission
Addmission Process was fair. After getting NEET Scorecard along with Rank we applied for councelling to Directorate of Medical Education, Tripura & got the seat through proper councelling on the basis of Neet UG All India Rank. Application process was normal we first registered for councelling and paid the registration fees of Rs. 1000 in the official website of DME, Tripura and further after a gap of 5-6 days We give our Choice filling for the medical College according to our priority & after a gap of 5-6 days 1st round of Councelling result came and I got the seat in Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R.A.M Teaching Hospital. The cut off for the 1st round for the state quota in 2020 was 480. But what I did not like is the time for application registration and choice filling and result of Councelling was more than the time we got for addmission in the college which they gave merely 3 days and the officials did the works very slow which is very annoying to students which has no limit.
