Fees reasonable in pov of private institution.
Annual events, sports facilities are there.
Teachers supportive and difficulty of exams moderate.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities not impressive, hygiene not maintained.
Mess food not good, place not even properly maintained.
College infrastructure not upto the mark, as private institution more facilities should be there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Timing in between internal exam is perfect. Difficulty level is moderate. Teaching methods need more improvement. Curriculum is according to MCI and NMC guidelines. Faculties are good and supportive enough.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is compulsory in medical college and part of mbbs curriculum. Mandatory 12 months internship necessary for clinical practice. Salary and hostel facilities available during internship from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee in pov of private college is good. Fees increase gradually, mostly every 2-3 years fees increases. Presently including all fees total MBBS cost is around 68lakhs. Campus employment is there after internship based on exam and interview.

Campus Life

Annual Fest helds every year. Foundation day is being celebrated. Sports events are there example cricket league and football league. Student run council is there who makes successful every events. Library is there with books and journal.

Admission

Neet-UG entrqnce test required . Details about application form and fees available in college official site. Cut-off for admission is different in every year for every caste. Yearly 3 internal exams are held and lastly final university exam. Difficulty of exams are moderate.

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
