Course Curriculum Overview

This curriculum is very much diverse. It takes around 5.5yrs to get ur degree. This curriculum also makes you well aquainted with the basic medical procedures required by the budding health professionals.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This college itself provides intership opportunity to all the students for 1year after the completion of final year. Package is around 1lakh per annum. Interns get the idea of basic medical procedures required after the completion of internship.

Placement Experience

No placement facility as such. After intership you have the chance to apply for the Junior residentship. Package varies. It is around (40 - 50) thousands/ month. Pg facility is also there. U can opt for any one.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is around 54lakhs (as per 2021 criteria). Now it gets around 67lakhs.Tution fee hostel fee has increased. Students can apply for student loan and can avail all kinds of scholarship mended by state government.

Campus Life

There is vast range of books available in the library. Every student can avail the benifit of it. Fest, TPL TMC la Liga like annual sports, festival are celebrated. Classrooms needs more improvement respect to technical provision. Others are good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also quite good. Chair ,table , single bed ,wardrobe is provided. Quality of food in mess is poor. U have to adjust. Hostel fee is around sixty thousands per yr including mess charges.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Neet qualified as per criteria. Merit list will be uploaded in DME website. As per merit list students can take admission in their deserved college. More instructions can be find in the DME website. Sc, st and obc quota are there.

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Review of Tripura Medical college and Hospital

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
