The campus as it is lush green and you can enjoy the whole vibe there.
The placement cell is good as they train you by mock interviews.
Clubs are good as you can learn new things and explore your interest

Dislikes

Sports facility is less as you can only avail it in evening only

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate it 8 as faculty is overall good and classroom are merely good but labs have very good infrastructure and teach us to deal and tackle with real world problems also teaches us problem solving.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available in the institute on the basis of merit and also by category you can avail all the details from scholarship department which is there in cse department. You can earn and work experience by enrolling yourself in incubation cell. I haven't seen any hikes in the fees in the course as of now.

Campus Life

There are many clubs and dedicated to the different activities and there is a day dedicated for this club activities where you can enroll yourself and learn many things. Many books and journals are available in library you can avail the benefits by using library card also use online library through ERP.

Admission

It was overall a good experience as they held us with support all over the campus. They visited and make the process simple for us by providing us with the good facility.Application fees and all the details are available in the academic department where fees and academic block is there.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

I had taken admission through REAP councelling.it is basically based on 10th 12th and jee score card . You can apply for this online .anyone 12th passed can apply for the councelling. Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
