I like the overall faculty staff and their teaching methodology.
Placement of my college are quite impressive.
There are lots of club activities are available in my college.

Dislikes

Timing of my college is too early i.e., 8 a.m. in the morning .
My college staff is very strict and all are very disciplined.
We can't go in class after 8.a.m. . This is very bad .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college is very good. In every subject there are five modules. All the teachers are well educated and they taught everything in details. There are weekly test assessment is also available.

Internships Opportunities

My college provides internship opportunities to all the final year students who are in 8th semester. Internship and placement companies are the same companies. They provide 6 months internships and also provides stipend based on the job role.

Placement Experience

Placement of my college is very good . Students of the 7th semester i.e. final year students are eligible for placement. There are lots of company visits every year in my college they are Infosys, cognizant, Amazon , in time tec, TCS. Average package is 5 lpa and highest package offered this year was 47.32lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my college is similar to other colleges. As my college comes under RTU college so the fee structure of all the rtu institute is same i.e. , 1 lac per year . And government scholarships are also available.campus placement is also good.

Campus Life

Our college held festival every year. Our annual fest is pravah. Our college organize this festival every year in the month of March . We have lots of club activities in our college. I am also the member of one club that is science and technology club

Admission

Eligibility for this course 45% min in PCM The admission process through reap Exam time is 10:30 AM to 1:30 AM ( 3 hours approximately) The admission process is suitable for everyone. No change is required here.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT.
