As statistics is a popular and intresting subject, it attracts me, so I decided to choose my career as a statistics graduate. It gives me very deep knowledge about the real world applications of statistics. In my oppinion the course Should include some more application level statistics than theoretical statistics. Form this academic year onwards the timing of exam became punctual.

No intership programs are provided in this course. It may be provided for other course not much aware about it. Seminar and webinars are conducted by the association secretary of the department and faculty members

The fee for B sc statistics is less compared to other science course. It probably lies in between 3000-5000. Students with e grands/ any other scholarship will get reduction According to the scholarship scheme. E-grants for OBC/SC/ST students and national scholarship also applicable.

We have vast library facilitie and it is open till from 9.30 to 4.30 and they issues books for students for reference and for reading. Their is vast variety of books and journals available for each subject. Calssroom provides good facilities for students. Provides best support for sports students and for extra curricular activities.

Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Ladies hostel situated inside the college. Mens hostel is outside the college. Allotment to hostel is based on distance and reservation is also considered. So I am staying in a pg. They provide a good facilities. Food is not provided by them. Near by the college. Between forums and capital green appartment

Eligibility of the course includes any plus two course with (maths or statistics)as one of the subject. Application form will be available in Calicut University website when admission process starts. It is a centralised admission procedure which includes all the colleges under Calicut University. Application fee will vary in each year. Admission process should be little more faster.
