Good- Go-To Option for all residents of east UP. Economical. Good Connectivity. Bad-No Placements, Poor Technical Staff.

It is the best college for UP east zone residents. It has a good connectivity from the city Jaunpur. Easily we can opt bus/ auto and it takes 20 mins at max to reach out the college campus.

It is a 4 years course which includes 8 semesters. It started in August 2008 and ended in June 2012. The syllabus is according to UPTU. It includes practicals/ tests/ major-minor projects. There is a decent library which can be accessed anytime for different books and study materials.

No. They do not provide the internship. Yet they do organize some workshops/ events and promote their students for internships out of the campus.

They promise to have few placement opportunities but that is not full proof. I got selected in 4 of the companies but got no offer letter when we passed out. So I think they should focus at this point otherwise they will lose the confidence of the students.

They are enthusiastic people. They celebrate convocation yearly and Engineers Day is also celebrated. Apart from this, They support students who want to organize events. When I was there they there were so many events like- Euphoria, Eureka, Technical Workshops etc.

Till 2012 the fee was 55k per semester for Btech-Information Technology Branch. So total we need to pay 55k*4 for the complete course. Also, we have options for scholarships which is pretty decent. We have 1100 rs as examination process fee per semester.

Yes till 2012, the scholarship from UP Government was given to the OBC students. No other scholarship is there.

Campus life is really cool. There is no gender diversity. Even they have some good female staff. They have separate labs for Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical. The labs have enough assets to explore the technology. We have some good lab controllers. They have a basketball court too.

it has separate Girls & Boys hostel which is situated at the 5 min walking distance from the campus. Food in the hostel is neither too good nor too bad. The infrastructure of the hostel & Mess is just ok. Good Wifi connectivity makes the study flow easily for the student.

No, there is no network of the alumni. All are separated. I think this is the place where we are lacking if we could have placed from the college time we could have connected in a better way.

The Exam procedure is cool. There are some sessionals. The procedure is strict they do not support forgery in any case. We are given roll nos department wise and then we allocated seats.

I gave UPTU Exam in april 2012 and got the result in 1-2 months. Then in the counseling process which took place in Varanasi I selected the university from the given drop-down list. Then I went for the admission which took 2 days. After the formalities I was given to switch my branch options, so ultimately I chose Information Technology.

Well, this is the pain point. The university, unfortunately, does not have technically sound staff. They should focus to spend more and get some real technology person. Still, there are some teachers which are doing excellent jobs. For example - There is a guy named Amrendra Singh who teaches Chemistry and he is the real bond.
