Course Curriculum Overview

this is one of the best b.tech colleges in Rajasthan, but they teach 28-year-old syllabus and there are so many exams in the college that not provide you free time they should add new subjects and latest technologies for the curriculum. The faculties are good.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like juspay, Infosys, TCS etc offer packages to students. Around 60-70 percent students got placed. Highest package of skit is 44LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

tution fee is 100000 pr year as it is very high for some students, there are some scholarships provided by college for some particular catagories, tution fee incesases year by year, there is wuestion charge of 5000.

Campus Life

campus of skit college is of 15 acres, there are so many festivals and technical events like pravali, walkathon, hackathon,mayukh and many more, college does not support se much for extra curriculum, almost all relevent books are available in college library

Hostel Facilities

Each one in the hostel have one room. Hot water available for drinking and bathing. Duct facilitie is also available. Average food is provided in mess. Hostel room is quite expensive as compared to other pg.

Admission

One can take admission on the basis of his or her jee examination. There is a website named as rtu one should apply for reap form and prefer skit college for btech. So much document verification required for admission. Which I personally don't like

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

Placement Experience:

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

The curriculum here is inspired from IIT Kanpur and IIIT Hyderabad but most of the courses aree not relevant today like in today's world C language is outdated but they always teach everything in C and in ECE branch the courses are considered to be the toughest and maximize of them are not relevant today.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

I had taken admission through REAP councelling.it is basically based on 10th 12th and jee score card . You can apply for this online .anyone 12th passed can apply for the councelling. Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
