Mainly the campus life in the college is very enjoyable
The staff and students are also very friendly.
The course curriculam is good compares to other universities.

Dislikes

The language barrier is a bit difficult.
The food and accommodation in the college.
The class timing in the winter session.It is a bit difficult to reach the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course covers a large area of major machine learning ,deep learnind,sql,and data visualisation. The course also covers a major portion of sql. And in accordence with there are also labworks. The course curriculum is well organised and accordingly planned ,so that the students can get maximum benifit from it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship to majority of students. Top companies like amazon,wipro,tata comes for the placement drive.There are also stipends for the students who perform well in the internship. Overall it provides good internship oppurtunities.

Placement Experience

There are good placement drives in the college and lots of students are getting placed in good companies. The students are available to get placements from the second semester. There are big companies like amazon,wipro,cognent etc. The students also get good salery.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is semester wised. The course fee for a semester is 40,500 and with a exam fee of 2500. The students who doesn't have enough money for paying fees can opt for educational loan. The university provides the neccesary help for the students. The fees here is comparatively lower than the other colleges.

Campus Life

The campus life of Chandigarh university is rather enjoyable. The buildings and the surroundings are well maintained and upto date with the modern technology. The campus provides free wifi . There are also wll maintained gardens and fountains.

Admission

The admission process was quite difficult. There was a exam called CUCET which was based mainly on aptitude tests and the area of our course's domain.The application procedures for the exam were online. The exam regestration fee was 1000 rupees. The exam was also online and it was also quite strict. There were many difficult questions. After we cleared the exam only we can get the admission.The admission procedure were also done online. They could have reduced the difficulty of CUCET exam.

In this we get brief information of computer science and more options of placement. Curriculum is based on all computer and to obvious reasons it relate to real-world as well as virtual. To my accord teachers must pay attention to practical work not to just completing syllabus and writing theories. The timing and difficulty level of exams are good. Again it's depend upon the subjects chosen.

Education quality is top class. Studies are given full priority. Students need to be present for every class otherwise they'll be left behind . College feels like school sometimes considering the amount of pressure the syllabus puts on a student.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.

Best Emerging Private University in North

Remarks:

Management is very good and they always work to give best environment for students. The campus is also very large. Transport facility is also 24×7. Cafeteria and eating joints are also inside the campus. Till now its very pleasant to be a part of this college. I have got to learn many new things about myself.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
