My Review of Sai Vidya Institute Of Technology

The course I chose is very much comprehensive and it includes almost every related aspect to it. The reason I chose this course is because of how future-oriented it is and has a lot of scope in the future. The curriculum not only teaches about the specific course but also gives a basic understanding of other fields which can be very useful for future academic pursuits. The teaching methods in the university is very efficient and understandable. They also train us to apply the theoretical concepts in real world problems. Exams are conducted once every 2-3 months which consists the topics covered in the lectures and they are easy to solve.

There was no such increase in the tuition fee during my admission but there can be a increase in the fee every two years which could be Rs.20000 depending on the university. My total fees was Rs.125000 which includes tuition fees and university fees. Hostel fees and transportation facility fees would cost extra which I didn't opt. There are many scholarships for students who are facing financial difficulties.

Many technical and cultural fests are organised and held in the university which are fun to participate by the students. There are many books and journals in the library from all branches which can be accessed by all the students anytime. Every classroom has a projector which are used by the professors for giving efficient lectures and can also be used by the students to give presentations. Every year selection trials are held in the university for various sports like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, etc. and the selected students participate in inter-university competitions. Student clubs are formed by all the branches which help in the acedemic development of the students.

The admission process was simple. This course was eligible for the students who had opted for the Science stream in their PU. The cut-off for the course in the university was satisfactory and it didn't overestimate the university's resources. The application dates were allotted on the official website of the KCET which conducts the entrance exam. Application form was given on their website and they could be filled out online or offline and even application fees could be filled either online or offline. The exams were conducted in the morning and afternoon sessions over two days and the difficulty of the exams was average i.e., neither too difficult nor too easy. The exams and the application processes were conducted smoothly and efficiently but the admission process was postponed multiple times and I feel that could be improved.
