Faculty is good and supportive. Treat very good
Infrastructure is good and modern. And keeps on upgrading
Campus life is good because of events and chill teachers.

Dislikes

Old curriculum is the disliked side here.
Few clubs are not working that we'll, I so lag at some point.
Students here are not that much aware about their fields, they are working on

Course Curriculum Overview

Course here is similar as other Indian colleges or universities. This college comes under IKGPTU, so follows their curriculum. Coming to exams there are two Mid sem exams before each semester exam. You can also get multiple specialization branches like robotics, blockchain, cyber security, AI-ML, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Inside college you can do internship in branding department, Development department, as assistant and few other opportunities. But not that much beneficial financially. It's better to do internship off campus.

Placement Experience

From sixth semester you are elegible for placements. TCS, HP, Godrej, IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, AWS, Microsoft, Bank of America, Capgemini, etc visit here for placement drive. Highest package is about 45LPA, and average is about 5LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available through JOSH exam while admission and for it's continuation for every year, I you may have to maintain at least 75% attendance and 7 CGPA. You can also get financial aid by participating in multiple events happening. Tuition fee can increase in next year, as this college is going to become a University.

Campus Life

All clubs are not that active. But few are doing very well. You may get at least a good event every month. There are multiple libraries in campus and totally free. And almost every required book would be available. Coming to sports, hockey is not available but other sports are available.

Admission

You just have to qualify 12th class and just fill the form from website or visit the campus. You can give JOSH exam for scholarships. This exam is online based on 12th syllabus. Admission process is just simple.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies
