Course Curriculum Overview
Since the college follows the AKTU curriculum, it is out of the college's hands to handle the course but the AKTU syllabus is acceptable. The exams are held at the end of every semester, i.e, twice a month. Each semester is roughly around 4-5 months.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies such as Accenture, Verdant offer students a training period after which they are hired on a stipend for a few months. After which they are hired full time into the company. This process is similar for every company
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are given to students. For MCA, placements usually start from the 3rd semester. Companies such as Accenture, Chetu, etc come for placement opportunities directly through the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for MCA is around 1.20 lakhs. This is for one year, that is, it includes both the semesters in a year. Another charge of around 7000 rupees is required at the end of the semester in order to pay for the AKTU examination fee which is paid directly on the AKTU website.
Campus Life
A lot of events are held every year. From freshers, to hostel's DJ nights to celebrity nights, etc. Every year, books relevant to your studies are given to the student. If required, the student may spend time reading more books in the library and/or borrow these books. Sports events are also held regularly for Cricket, volleyball, basketball and football.
Admission
IMSEC offers a diverse range of courses in engineering and technology, each with its own criteria such as mathematics in 10+2 for undergraduate courses and a bachelors degree in their relevant fields for Post graduate courses. The fees are reasonable at 1,30,000 rupees and this includes extra expenses such as Examination fee for Aktu. For the application process, the students may apply either through the website, through CUET or direct admission by visiting the college. This college is affiliated to AKTU.
