Remarks

The college is very nice in all aspects such as infrastructure, Training and placement, research etc. The management of college is also good, they understand all problems of students and cooperate to students.

Entrance Preview

The college have very nice infrastructure including all facilities. The department has well-organized labs for practicals including all open source softwares. Placement is good and all faculties in college are well experienced that is why I opt for this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible. The State government, at present, provides scholarship to SC/ST students equal to fees charged by government colleges for engineering. The scholarship amount is less than the actual fee, particularly in case of private engineering colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship (at college level) is given to students those who are toppers. This is really beneficial for students to encourage them and to increase their confidence.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel campus is in the good condition, it can be improved by working on maintenance activities and many other things. The hostels rooms are in good condition and those are in sharing. The water facility at hostel is good. The food quality is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are placed in very good companies. Our college have yearly organize the alumni meet for passed out students. The alumni directory is helpful to connect with people who could be great resources for informational interviews or introductions. Our senior are really helpful.

Admission

The link for online application form is http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in After applying online on DTE website, a candidate has to take printout of the application form filled online along with all the required original documents and report to any convenient Facilitation Centre in person for documents verification. The administration is good.

Faculty

The faculties in college are well experienced.They have taken lots of efforts on students such as they applied various teaching strategies

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I apply for various colleges like dy patil , sopanrao moze , mit , coep , aissm but i got alard college of engineering and managment because of i cant fit in cutoff list of other collges .
